Area Security Operations Manager

Your role includes monitoring security alarms, coordinating resources, engaging with stakeholders, reporting insights, assessing performance, ensuring travel safety, and managing incident responses. What's in it for You Competitive Salary: $60,000 / year Work Site Location: Midlothian, TX Set Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. This position may require long hours and weekend work. Your Responsibilities Oversee daily operations of the SOC, ensuring efficient monitoring and response to security incidents. Responsible for overall administration of the services and deliverables provided pursuant to the contract and ensuring contractor and personnel compliance with the regulatory and contractual requirement of the most recent statement of work. Liaison between contractor and client, with law enforcement agencies, with customers at the facilities, and with all personnel. Plan, organize, direct, and control the operational and administrative activities of the service and deliverables required of personnel on day-to-day basis. Enforce physical security measures and practices to ensure client directives are completed. Collect, input, and review for accuracy all site metrics and assigned reporting requirements in compliance with contract requirements. Provision new contract security personnel as outline in policy and procedures. Ensure contract security personnel have completed background checks and pre-deployment training before gaining access to the site, oversee the required On Job Training program and continuing training of the security staff. Develop and implement emergency management protocols and procedures to enhance crisis response capabilities. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate intelligence into business operations and strategic planning. Maintain cutting-edge technology and systems to support security operations and intelligence analysis. Conduct regular training and exercises to prepare staff for emergency situations. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the GSOC team. Perform other duties as assigned. Your Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Intelligence Studies, or a related field. Able to pass an extensive screening process. 3 years prior leadership role (direct management of over 5 employees) in security or related industry required. Experience managing payroll preferred. High level technical and computer skills as they will be overseeing set up, operations and tech support to their SOC employees. Google Suite (working level proficiency required) C-Cure 9000 (prior experience desired) FLIR/DVTEL Cameras (prior experience desired) Hardware to include monitors, TVs etc. (Set up and operations) Report Writing Have extensive experience and knowledge of various access control platforms, video management systems, and incident management applications/software Authorized to work in the United States Proficient in the use of security technologies and intelligence tools. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Have demonstrated expertise in developing, implementing, and managing control center programs.
