There is an Audi dealership in Lexington, but Blue Grass Motorsport has many loyal clients living in Lexington as well as Pikeville, Covington, Newport, Bowling Green, Paducah, Elizabethtown, Henderson and in other cities across the Commonwealth.

Blue Grass Motorsport is currently looking for an experienced HR Partner. The ideal candidate for this position would be people and compliance oriented, have strong organizational skills, and have proven experience as a trusted partner. This position requires the ability to multi-task in a deadline-oriented environment.

Duties & Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition & Development
· Assists managers in hiring and onboarding all new employees.
· Works with owners and managers on all HR issues.
· Partners with the leadership team to understand and execute the organization’s human resource and talent strategy particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, onboarding, retention, and succession planning.
· Coordinates the talent acquisition process, which may include recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of qualified job applicants; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
· Develops or contracts with vendors for learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for employees.
· Conducts onboarding of new employees.
· Provides support and coordination of constructive and timely performance evaluations across all departments.
· Oversees employee corrective action process, meetings, terminations, and investigations in accordance with company policy.
· Provides support and guidance to management, and other staff when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise; may be required to administer and execute routine tasks in delicate circumstances such as investigating allegations of wrongdoing, and terminations.
Compliance
· Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
· Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
· Manages all HRIS and related systems and vendor relationships in the HR space.
· Manages the FMLA process and administration.
· Partners with the leadership team to ensure employee communication aligns with business needs and Company goals.
Compensation & Rewards Administration
· Serves as back up for meticulous calculations and preparation of bi-weekly payroll for 100+ employees.
· Serves as resource for Payroll Associate to calculate, prepare, and file monthly, quarterly, and annual payroll tax returns.
· Benefit administration including all medical and other insurances, 401K, HSA, sick and vacation records.
· Ensures accurate posting of all items over to general ledger.
· Administers worker’s comp insurance.
· Oversees account reconciliations.
· Analyzes trends in compensation and benefits to ensure Blue Grass attracts and retains top talent.
· Payroll administration including paid time off, commissions, and incentive programs. Partner with finance colleagues to ensure proper allocation and record keeping.
· Employee benefits administration to include annual renewals, enrollment, plan revisions, COBRA administration, and new employee orientation to the offerings.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Skills & Abilities
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills are needed
· High level of integrity, experience and professionalism working with sensitive and confidential information
· Proven ability to interpret various pay plans and calculate checks with a high level of accuracy
· Having dealership experience is a positive
· Ability to work extended hours as needed
· Must pass a background check and drug screen
Education & Experience
· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required
· A minimum of three years of human resource leadership experience preferred
· SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or SPHR strongly preferred or willing to obtain in first twelve months
Physical Requirements
· Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
· Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times
· Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities
