The Production Manager has five direct reports on a standard first-shift schedule. Reports directly to the Plant Manager in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. About Our Client

Job Description

Responsibilities: Oversee and develop a team of 5 production supervisors and 50+ hourly employees across two departments. Champion lean manufacturing initiatives-driving continuous improvement, visual management, and a culture of accountability. Collaborate with Quality, Maintenance, and Engineering to hit safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets. Lead daily production meetings, coach team leaders, and ensure timely execution of production schedules. Set clear goals and expectations, challenging the team to elevate performance. Support operational strategy and help shape the future direction of the site. Ideal Candidate: 5+ years of experience leading production teams in a manufacturing environment. Strong lean background with a hands-on, floor-focused leadership style. Track record of improving processes and driving team engagement. Confident communicator who can challenge, motivate, and inspire. Ability to work across multiple production groups and shifts.
