Job Description
6+ years’ experience in an Android development role (Android 2+). Strong Java 8+ and Android SDK knowledge. Experience with Android emulators. Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party libraries. Superior problem-solving skills and debugging capabilities. Flexible and self driven with a collaborative approach to problem solving. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Good working knowledge of revision control and code review tools like Git, Gerrit etc. Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or in a relevant field. Comfortable writing robust unit tests, including edge cases, usability and reliability. Experience working in high performance Agile Scrum teams. Experience with Android Bound Services and Android Open Source Experience with distributed computing. Skills with Java or Kotlin. Experience working with international and remote teams. Experience with building accessible software – ADA, WCAG standards – testing tools: JAWS, screen readers.
