Program Director

The Posse Foundation . The primary responsibilities of the Program Director include overseeing and managing the Posse program across up to six university partners, managing a team of trainers and a program coordinator, and coordinating all program operations. These operations involve developing and maintaining a scholarship nominating network, managing recruitment and training programs, working with the Career Program, and developing the program calendar. The Program Director will also monitor student academic performance, retention, and graduation rates, and report on student outcomes. Additionally, they will ensure trainer development through coaching and feedback, work closely with the director on program goals, and maintain university relations through visits and communication. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, enthusiastic, an excellent communicator, hardworking, and a strong role model. The Program Director reports directly to the site director. Bachelor’s degree required Master’s degree preferred Excellent interpersonal skills Minimum 2-3 years experience in youth development or training programs Management experience of 2-3 years Self-motivated Strong organizational and facilitation skills Good writing and communication skills Knowledge of San Francisco Bay Area public high schools Willing to travel frequently Demonstrated belief in Posse’s mission and values Seniority level
