Project Manager
Trillium Construction is hiring a Project Manager in Portland, OR! Our client is an EPC specializing in industrial manufacturing, renewables, food processing, high purity chemicals, advances materials, and semi-conductors. They are now hiring for a Project Manager to join their team in Portland. This is a direct hire opportunity with a salary of up to $105k plus benefits like M/V/D, PTO, 401k, Sick time, and Holiday Pay. Duties: Lead the development and implementation of detailed project plans, including scope, timeline, budget, and resource allocation. Coordinate all aspects of the project lifecycle, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards. Develop sequence of activities for contractors. Manage and mentor project teams, including site supervisors, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors. Oversee project budgets, including cost tracking, forecasting, and cost-saving initiatives. Ensure projects stay within budget and deliver value to clients. Identify and mitigate project risks by developing contingency plans. Monitor ongoing project activities to prevent delays, cost overruns, and safety incidents. Serve as the main point of contact for clients, providing regular project updates and addressing concerns. Foster strong relationships with clients, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution. Ensure that all projects are compliant with industry safety standards and regulations. Foster a culture of safety on-site and ensure all workers are trained in safe work practices. Ensure quality control processes are followed to meet project specifications. Maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, safety inspections, change orders, and project status updates. Review contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers, ensuring all terms and conditions are met. Negotiate changes to scope, schedule, and costs as needed. Qualifications: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in project management within heavy industrial construction (manufacturing, high purity chemicals, advanced materials, semiconductor, etc.) ranging anywhere from $250k - $10 million. Experience working in process construction (equipment installation, process piping, process mechanical, E&I, etc.) Experience working on industrial building projects including civil, concrete, steel, MEP, and FP. Proven experience managing large-scale, complex industrial construction projects from start to finish.
