Delta Construction Partners is a national executive search firm for the nation’s premier electrical contractors and industry professionals. Delta has been retained by a confidential electrical contractor client to conduct a search for the position of Electrical Chief Estimator in Orlando, Florida.
Electrical Chief Estimator Compensation & Benefits
Total compensation for the Electrical Chief Estimator in Orlando, FL is between $125,000 and $150,000.

Electrical Chief Estimator Duties & Responsibilities
Must have experience with an electrical contractor
Experience with commercial electrical construction projects such multi-family, garden style, data centers, etc.
Must be able to manage assigned projects from start to completion
Must be able to read blueprints, review bid documents and specifications for accuracy / discrepancies
Must be proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Knowledge of Accubid (preferred) or other estimating software
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Must be extremely detail-oriented and organized
Must possess ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a strong sense of urgency
Must have a strong business acumen
Electrical Chief Estimator Qualifications
Great job history stability, no more than 3 jobs in the last 10 years
Minimum of 8-10 years of experience working as an Estimator or similar for a medium to large electrical subcontractor
Proven success running operations for a medium-sized electrical contractor
Knowledge & financial responsibility to run profit & loss
Ability to read and understand construction blueprints, specs, and contract documents to fully understand scope of work, scheduling, and contract requirements
Project experience must include large commercial and multifamily electrical construction projects
Successful experience with project budgets, forecasting project costs, change orders, billings, job costing, and more
Must be able to pass a background check, and possess a good driving record
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Preferred but Not Necessary
Journeyman License or Degree
