Job Responsibilities: Design and implement infrastructure tools/services within technical domains following architectural governance, standards, and policies. Lead deployment of tools/services by guiding solution development, maintaining templates, playbooks, and automation processes. Demonstrate expertise in technical domains, decompose issues into work units, and promote best practices in design, engineering, and organization. Enterprise Cloud Platforms Team: The team offers Private and Public Cloud platforms to facilitate faster market delivery, innovation, and reduced complexity through integrated solutions. We focus on high-quality engineering, scalable design, resilience, and fostering innovation across our platforms. As part of this team, you will influence the evolution of next-generation cloud services and explore new technologies to drive innovation across Bank of America. Role Summary: The Cloud Platforms Infrastructure Lead oversees the design, implementation, and management of secure network architectures within cloud environments. Responsibilities include collaborating on security protocols, conducting assessments, and automating network/security solutions. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in cloud networking and security, understands compliance, and possesses strong leadership and communication skills. Key Responsibilities: Design secure cloud network architectures. Lead engineering teams on security strategies and policies. Develop automation using Terraform and other tools. Create automation for cloud landing zones and core services. Collaborate on provisioning automation with IAM, network, security, and observability. Work with product management and operations in an Agile environment. Partner with Security teams to embed security into cloud solutions. Translate business needs into technical deployment blueprints and playbooks. Ensure solutions adhere to enterprise standards. Promote an inclusive, healthy work environment and resolve organizational blockers. Required Qualifications: 7+ years of experience in cloud network/security technologies across enterprise infrastructures. Strong understanding of cloud networking, security, and related protocols. Proficiency in Microsoft Azure (certification preferred), AWS, GCP. Experience with enterprise-scale IaaS and PaaS solutions. Familiarity with agile tools like Jira, Confluence, Kanban. Ability to translate requirements into technical solutions. Experience with cloud infrastructure, virtual appliances, SDN technologies, and migration to cloud. Deep knowledge of cloud security and threat modeling. Understanding of protocols, operating systems, hypervisors, distributed systems. Experience with configuration management, automation, monitoring, and scripting languages (Bash, Python). Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Desired Qualifications: Experience in financial services industry. Linux/UNIX administration and scripting skills. Certifications like AZ-700. Experience with private/public cloud solutions and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift). Responsibilities: Translate application/business requirements into technical models and blueprints. Contribute to product evaluation requirements and review third-party solutions. Mentor infrastructure resources on service standards and integration validation. Foster an inclusive, healthy work environment and resolve blockers.
