Responsibilities

As a Sr. Material Handler, you will play a crucial role in our transportation and shipping operations. Your main responsibilities will include: Managing the receipt, storage, and distribution of materials in a strictly controlled environment Operating material handling equipment safely and efficiently Coordinating with various departments to determine material needs and successfully implement material transfer requests Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area to meet safety standards Preparing shipping documents and labels for shipments Conducting quality inspections of incoming and outgoing materials Troubleshooting and resolving material handling issues promptly and effectively

Requirements

To be considered for the Sr. Material Handler position, you must meet the following requirements: High school diploma or equivalent experience; additional education or certification in logistics, supply chain management, or related field is a bonus Proven experience in a material handling or logistics role, preferably in a fast-paced environment Outstanding organizational and time management skills Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment; certification preferred Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team Strong attention to detail and dedication to maintaining high standards of accuracy and safety Ability to lift and move heavy objects, up to 50 lbs, frequently
