Job Overview:

As a

Packaging Operator / Material Handler

working the

2nd Shift , you will be responsible for packaging pharmaceutical products in accordance with cGMP standards, SOPs, and FDA regulations.

This includes operating automated filling and labelling equipment, performing accurate documentation, and ensuring product quality and safety in a high-volume environment.

Key Responsibilities: Package pharmaceutical products per SOPs and regulatory requirements Operate automated filling, labelling, and sealing machinery Perform room and equipment cleaning procedures as directed Follow current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and maintain proper documentation Accurately complete logbooks and batch records Monitor the packaging line and stop operations if safety or quality issues arise Palletise finished goods and return unused materials Segregate waste materials according to procedures Participate in safety initiatives and maintain a clean, compliant work area Adhere to Cipla's safety, health, and environmental policies Perform other related duties as assigned

Must-Have Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent Minimum 6 months of packaging operator experience in an automated environment (preferred) Basic knowledge of cGMP, FDA, and packaging area SOPs Effective written and verbal communication skills in English Willingness to work the 2nd shift (3:00 PM - 11:30 PM)

Nice-To-Have Qualifications: Previous experience in a pharmaceutical or FDA-regulated packaging environment Understanding of quality control, safety procedures, and production workflows

Physical & Working Conditions: Stand/walk for extended periods (up to 8 hours) Lift up to 10 lbs regularly; 10-24 lbs occasionally; up to 49 lbs rarely Bending, twisting, climbing, squatting, and kneeling are required Work in a loud, high-paced manufacturing environment (PPE provided)
