PCE seeks a dynamic individual to join our valuation team. As a Vice President, you will help clients, ranging from early-stage start-up companies to large multinational corporations, solve complex business valuation issues. We seek a detail-oriented individual who can work collaboratively with senior leadership, associates and analyst, while providing excellent client service.
Description As a Vice President in our valuation practice, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of different projects and interact with high-level executives across multiple industries, performing various tasks, including Manage, plan, execute and deliver business and intangible asset valuations for mergers and acquisitions, financial reporting, tax and regulatory compliance, ESOPs, restructuring and reorganization, and management planning purposes Assist colleagues in managing client expectations concerning project deliverables and deadlines and lead change efforts effectively Manage, lead, and assist in the development of valuation colleagues Oversee and manage due diligence, document assembly, and finalization of working papers that support valuations Proactively and effectively contribute to the marketing and business development efforts Develop and maintain strong client relationships Must be able to work independently and demonstrate a collaborative style. Must have ability to manage multiple priorities and projects at one time The ideal candidate will be able to develop models to value a variety of valuation projects and complex financial instruments, such as equity securities, convertible debt instruments, derivatives, and contingent liabilities across a wide range of industries Qualifications Entrepreneurial and self-motivated, while offering team approach to leadership Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field (Advanced degree preferred) Minimum of
five
years of business valuation experience within a business valuation firm or valuation practice of an audit, tax, and advisory firm CPA, CFA, and/or valuation credential such as ASA, CVA, ABV is preferred Demonstrated experience in fair value measurements for financial reporting purposes (e.g., ASC 805, ASC 350, ASC 718), or fair market value measurements for tax compliance, ESOPs, or other related services Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment Excellent written, presentation, leadership, and interpersonal communications skills.
