to the DMV area. We have expanded to seven retail locations, two production bakeries, and a thriving wholesale business. We serve coffee shops, restaurants, hotels, and grocery stores with fresh products every day, 365 days a year .

About The Role:
Join the Fresh Baguette team as a Purchaser and Warehouse Operator and become an integral part of ensuring the efficiency and accuracy of our supply chain and warehouse operations. This is an hourly, full-time position where you will utilize your skills in procurement, inventory management, equipment operation, and teamwork in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Your contributions will directly support our organization's logistical and operational success while preparing, receiving, storing, and delivering materials and products.

Oversee receiving, labeling, picking, packing, and loading of trucks. Operate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, packaging machines, scales and printing devices. Collaborate with other departments, staff groups, and customers to ensure timely procurement and distribution of materials and products. Stack and palletize products for efficient storage and transport. Relabel and relocate materials as needed to optimize warehouse organization. Follow established procedures for receiving, storing, picking, and unloading trucks. Ensure compliance with safety practices and protocols within the warehouse environment. Assist in any other activity inside-outside Cap8 required by superiors Assist in maintaining cleanliness, health, safety, and security standards throughout the facility. Inspect, prepare, load, unload, and operate delivery vehicles as required. Serve as a backup driver when needed to ensure timely deliveries. Adapt to varied working conditions, including temperature extremes, aligning with regional climate conditions. Assist the warehouse manager or team leads with any additional tasks or responsibilities as assigned. Reports to: Warehouse Manager Qualifications: Minimum of 3+ years of experience as a warehouse member. Proven ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks under tight deadlines. Proficient in using technology, including smartphones, computers, and email systems. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Solid problem-solving capabilities with the ability to handle frequent interruptions and competing priorities. Mechanical aptitude with knowledge of safety practices when using tools and equipment. Ability to work in varied temperatures consistent with the local climate, including heat, humidity, and cold. Skilled in operating forklifts, pallet jacks, packaging machines, scales, and printing devices. Experience with inventory management systems and warehouse operations best practices. Strong communication and collaboration skills to coordinate with various teams and departments. Willingness to assist in any activity related to warehouse operations, both within and outside the facility. Requirements: Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship Availability to work on Holidays
- Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year High School Diploma or GED Must be Forklift certified Must be able to work overtime as needed. Ability to lift a minimum of 90 pounds. Ability to stand for long hours. Ability to do frequent physical work Must have a valid Driver's License DOT certification preferred
