Job Title: Image Processing Engineer/ Measurement Engineer I
Location: Painted Post, NY - open for hybrid
Duration: 12+ Months with possible extensions
Top Required Skills: Programming in C# and Python Image processing algorithm development (OpenCV/Halcon) Data retrieval, plotting, and analysis
Must-Have Skills: Strong programming skills (C#, Python) Knowledge of OOP and software architecture concepts Image processing algorithms (blob analysis, edge detection, morphology, feature extraction, classification, metrology) Data analysis and presentation skills (MS Office) Ability to work independently and collaborate with engineering teams Strong communication and training capability
Key Responsibilities and Duties: Develop software and image processing algorithms to support inspection and production processes Collaborate with the Measurements & Controls group to create data manipulation approaches for production and quality feedback Transfer early-stage technologies into production-ready applications Create and update documentation for production use (applications and procedures) Train engineering, maintenance, and operations staff on developed tools and procedures Provide remote and onsite troubleshooting using data and performance analysis
Requirements: BS degree required; advanced degree preferred in Data Science, Computer Engineering, Physics, EE, ECE, or Optics Strong programming experience (C# and Python)
