Position Overview
The warehouse associate receives shipments and restocks orders, keeps track of inventory, prepares, and loads order for customers, and maintains the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse space.
Position responsibilities include
Perform warehouse-related duties such as receiving and storage of goods, preparing orders for shipment by accurately picking items from shelves, operating and maintaining forklift and other equipment, loading/unloading product from trucks.
Perform data entry, merchandise scan-ins, and other required quality assurance steps that confirm the contents of each order while tracking inventory for the company.
Serves customers by understanding and resolving or forwarding complaints, adjusting orders.
Maintains a clean and organized facility and work areas. Maintain safe operation and clean appearance by complying with company policies, procedures and standards.
Updates job knowledge by participating in training opportunities. Participates in a team atmosphere.
Skills/Qualifications:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Physical activity requiring reaching, bending, kneeling, stooping, pulling, carrying, balancing, lifting, finger dexterity, repetitive motions, talking and hearing. Must be able to use box cutter to open boxes of product. Must be able to safely operate forklift.
Heating and Air Conditioning knowledge desired but not required.
Ability to work 40-45 hours per week, Monday through Friday
Education Level: HS Diploma or higher
Candidates will be required to pass a drug test and criminal background check.
