Zero Point One Physical Therapy
If you’re a PT who values a fitness forward approach, clear reasoning, and dedicated one-on-one care, this role is worth your attention.
Physical Therapist
Zero Point One Physical Therapy — NoMad, NYC Full-Time | One-on-One | In-Person
Zero Point One Physical Therapy is a performance-driven, out-of-network physical therapy clinic in NoMad, NYC. We help active adults, runners, hybrid athletes, and longevity-focused individuals move from pain to performance through evidence-informed evaluation and progressive, strength-forward training.
We are growing our team and looking for a physical therapist who wants to practice at a high level — someone who trains, thinks, and coaches with intention and values both clinical reasoning and strength and conditioning.
This is an opportunity to do meaningful work with the time, resources, and autonomy to do it well.
About the Role
You’ll deliver one-on-one, 60-minute sessions inside a space with private treatment rooms and a fully equipped gym space.
Your caseload is built around motivated, active adults who want to move, lift, run, and live with long-term resilience, not just short-term relief.
You’ll use a blend of manual therapy, movement coaching, and progressive loading to guide people out of pain and bridge the gap to health and performance.
You’ll have the freedom to evaluate deeply, build individualized plans, and coach foundational strength movements as part of rehab.
What You’ll Do • Provide 60-minute, one-on-one sessions • Evaluate through a capacity, load, and movement lens • Use manual therapy strategically • Build and coach progressive training plans under load • Work with active people, runners, and performance-minded patients • Track objective progress through clear benchmarks • Participate in weekly mentorship and case discussions • Contribute to a collaborative and educational team culture
What We Offer
Clinical Autonomy • No double-booking • No insurance constraints • No quotas • Time to think, treat, and build long-term plans
Professional Growth • Weekly mentorship and case reviews • Continuing education support • Development in strength and conditioning, communication, and return-to-performance progressions
Career Development • Opportunities to lead programs, workshops, and specialty initiatives • Clear growth pathway in a rapidly expanding performance clinic
The Environment A strength, movement, and performance-first culture where you train what you teach.
Who We’re Looking For Required • DPT from an accredited program • Current or eligible NY PT license • Strong foundation in movement-based rehab • Ability to coach strength movements in a gym setting • Clear communicator who builds trust and long-term relationships • Growth-minded and excited to practice at a high level
Preferred • Experience with runners, lifters, or active adults • Background or strong interest in S&C • Interest in manual therapy as a supporting tool • Curiosity-driven, collaborative, and coachable
