About Troveo AI

Troveo is building the next‑generation data platform to train AI video models. We offer the world’s largest library of AI video training data, offering millions of hours of licensed, training‑ready content. Our end‑to‑end data pipeline connects creators, rights holders, and AI research labs, enabling scalable, compliant, and innovative uses of video for AI applications and model development.

Role Summary

Understanding and analyzing the data in our library is critical to our ability to deliver complex training‑ready datasets to our customers. You will support these efforts by translating open‑ended questions into analytical frameworks, building and running queries, and creating reports for the product, engineering, and sales teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build analytical tools such as queries, dashboards, and reports that reveal the structure, distribution, and composition of our library.
  • Develop selection logic and repeatable frameworks that make it easier to identify the right assets for client requests.
  • Map patterns, clusters, outliers, and rare categories so teams understand what’s common, what’s scarce, and what’s uniquely valuable.
  • Work with our Content Curation team to surface strong examples quickly when automated search falls short.
  • Define criteria and guardrails for data quality.
  • Identify gaps, inconsistencies, or emerging opportunities in the library.
  • Translate vague or ambiguous content requests into structured, data‑backed approaches that other teams can reuse.

What You Should Bring

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in an analytics, Business Intelligence (BI), or data operations function.
  • Proficiency in using SQL and Snowflake, specifically within the context of large, multi‑attribute datasets.
  • Demonstrated experience with BI or data visualization platforms (e.g., Looker, Mode, Tableau, Power BI) to develop clear and actionable dashboards or reports.
  • Advanced capability in using spreadsheet applications (Excel or Google Sheets) for rapid analysis and compiling reports.
  • Ability to design classification logic, bucketing systems, and pattern‑detection queries to navigate large catalogs.
  • Experience working with data quality checks, taxonomy cleanup, and identifying inconsistencies in large datasets.
  • Ability to convert abstract questions into filters, selection frameworks, and reproducible logic for better stakeholder communication.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to prepare detailed written and visual presentations.

Why Join Troveo?

  • Shape the strategy and operating model of a high‑growth venture‑backed startup at the intersection of media and AI.
  • Work directly with senior leadership on company‑defining initiatives.
  • Collaborate with a talented, diverse team of subject matter experts.
  • Opportunity to grow into a senior role as the company scales.
  • Competitive compensation package with equity upside and benefits.
