Akkodis is seeking a WordPress Developer for a Contract To Hire position based in Philadelphia PA/ Wilmington (Hybrid), Were ideally looking for applicants with solid exp with WordPress, JavaScript, HTML, PHP, MYSQL would come as a big plus.
Pay Range: $60-$70/hr. W2, The pay may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Seeking a strong WordPress developer responsible for creating, customizing, and maintaining websites using the WordPress platform, ensuring both front-end and back-end functionality. Looking for someone with WP Engine experience/latest Wordpress versions.
Key Responsibilities
- T heme and Plugin Customization: create and customize WordPress themes and plugins to enhance website functionality and aesthetics, ensuring that the site meets specific design and operational requirements
- P erformance Optimization: monitor website performance, conduct tests, and implement necessary adjustments to improve loading speeds and overall user experience.
- S ecurity Management: Implementing and maintaining security measures is crucial to protect websites from vulnerabilities and potential threats. This includes regular updates and monitoring for security breaches.
- T roubleshooting and Support: responsible for troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, bugs, or content problems that arise on live websites, ensuring minimal downtime and a smooth user experience.
