Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to design, implement, and optimize production processes that drive efficiency and minimize waste. This role leverages Lean and Six Sigma principles to ensure high-quality output and continuous improvement across our manufacturing operations. Key Responsibilities Develop and enhance manufacturing processes for components and systems. Streamline workflows to boost efficiency using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies. Create and maintain detailed process documentation, including work instructions and sequence cards. Lead or support projects involving equipment installation and production line modifications. Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Assembly teams to ensure seamless product launches. Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets effectively. Analyze production data to identify root causes and implement corrective actions. Conduct time studies, line balancing, and ergonomic evaluations. Design strategies for equipment layout and material flow optimization. Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards. Partner with Quality Assurance to resolve issues and support audits. Provide hands‑on technical support to address production challenges. Qualifications & Skills Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment, and quality control. Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment. Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills. Familiarity with ERP systems and resource planning tools. Expertise in Continuous Improvement, Root Cause Analysis, and Lean Manufacturing. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering. Minimum 4 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. Work Environment This is an onsite position, requiring time on the manufacturing floor and in the office. You’ll collaborate with cross‑functional teams in a dynamic, fast‑changing environment. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fort Lauderdale, FL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $55.00/hr.
