This unique Clinical Pharmacy Specialist position offers the opportunity to work across both inpatient and outpatient settings within our high-acuity Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) and Cellular Immunotherapy Therapy (CI) program—one of the most complex and fast-evolving services in oncology.

As an integral member of a multidisciplinary care team, you’ll provide direct clinical pharmacy support to patients undergoing autologous and allogeneic stem cell transplants, CAR-T therapy, and other advanced cellular immunotherapies. Our pharmacy team is integral to the clinical success of our BMT-CI program and actively contributes to institutional excellence through teaching, research, and collaboration. This role is ideal for a pharmacist who thrives in a dynamic environment, values cross-continuum care, and is passionate about advancing therapies that push the boundaries of cancer treatment.

The Ideal Candidate

Doctor of Pharmacy Degree from an accredited College of Pharmacy or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Has Board of Pharmacy Specialties (BPS) certification in area of specialty practice.

Relevant work experience as a clinical pharmacist in the area of specialization.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to optimize therapeutic outcomes and ensure safe, evidence-based medication use.

Participate in daily rounds on the inpatient services and provide clinical consults and medication management in the outpatient treatment centers and clinic settings.

Support transitions of care, therapeutic drug monitoring, antimicrobial stewardship, and protocol-driven supportive care.

Engage in clinical research, formulary and standard operating procedure development, and quality improvement initiatives.

Serve as a preceptor for pharmacy residents and students, contributing to a robust learning environment.

Credentials And Qualifications

Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy required.

Licensed as a Pharmacist in the state of Florida required.

Completion of a PGY-2 Residency in Hematology/Oncology or other area of specialization, OR a minimum of 5 years experience in a progressive clinical practice.
