Role Overview The Senior Director, Global Procurement Travel, Fleet & Meetings is a strategic leader responsible for overseeing the procurement and operational management of the organization's global travel, fleet, meetings and corporate card categories. This role combines strategic sourcing expertise with operational excellence to drive cost efficiencies, enhance supplier relationships, and deliver innovative solutions that align with the company’s business objectives. The leader will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless integration of procurement strategies with travel, fleet, and meetings operations, ensuring compliance, sustainability, and service excellence.

Location and Work Arrangement This role requires 4 days per week onsite at Regeneron's offices (Warren, NJ) and 2 days per week at the Global HQ in Tarrytown. It is not available as a fully remote or hybrid work arrangement.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute global category strategies for travel, fleet, meetings, and corporate card programs, ensuring alignment with corporate goals.

Lead strategic sourcing initiatives, including supplier negotiations and contract management, to achieve cost savings, sustainability, and risk mitigation.

Drive supplier relationship management and implement best practices across procurement and sourcing functions to optimize spend and enhance supplier performance.

Leverage data analytics and market intelligence to optimize spend, enhance supplier performance, and identify trends.

Advise senior leadership on procurement strategies, providing actionable insights and recommendations.

Act as an enterprise leader by driving alignment across global teams, influencing strategic priorities, and championing initiatives that deliver value and innovation across the organization.

Oversee global travel programs, ensuring compliance with policies, traveler satisfaction, and cost efficiency; manage relationships with travel vendors and drive adoption of technology.

Lead global fleet strategies, including procurement, leasing, and maintenance, ensuring compliance with safety and sustainability standards.

Develop and manage a global meetings and events program, collaborating with stakeholders to deliver cost‑effective and innovative solutions.

Manage the corporate card program, ensuring seamless operations, compliance, and alignment with company policies, and partner with Finance to drive adoption and optimize spend visibility.

Ensure adherence to corporate policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements across all procurement and operational activities.

Drive sustainability initiatives, including carbon footprint reduction and environmentally friendly practices.

Build and lead a high‑performing global team, fostering innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement; provide mentorship, coaching, and professional development.

Lead active performance management and talent development initiatives, fostering skill growth and career progression.

Inspire and motivate teams, communicate with clarity and enthusiasm across all levels, and act as a champion for strategic sourcing.

Qualifications

Experience managing mid to senior level procurement and operations professionals.

Proven track record developing category strategies to meet Pharma/Biotech company goals.

Demonstrated proficiency in introducing new applications and policies based on professional principles.

Experience formulating strategy and vision regarding issues that have company-wide impact.

Education: Bachelors degree plus 15 years of relevant, progressive experience within procurement, preferably including 12 years directly in sourcing within Pharma/Biotech; or Masters degree plus 13 years of relevant, progressive experience within procurement, preferably including 10 years directly in sourcing within Pharma/Biotech.

Salary Range $216,100.00 – $360,200.00 annually
