This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Director Strategy - Link Commercial in North Carolina.

We are seeking a strategic and results-oriented Director of Strategy to drive adoption and long-term success of a suite of commercial and engagement applications within the life sciences sector. In this role, you will partner with account teams, product management, and executive stakeholders to define go-to-market strategies, guide product adoption, and align customer needs with innovative solutions. You will serve as a trusted advisor to clients, lead strategic account plans, and represent the business at industry events. This position offers the opportunity to influence product direction, expand market presence, and collaborate across a dynamic, agile, and high-growth environment.

Accountabilities

Fully understand and articulate the go-to-market strategy for commercial and engagement applications, ensuring alignment with client and market needs.

Advise product management on market dynamics and evolving customer requirements within large pharmaceutical accounts.

Own adoption and long-term success of the platform within assigned accounts, partnering with account teams to execute strategic plans, drive deals, renewals, and forecast adoption.

Define key messaging, map stakeholders, and lead software demonstrations and strategy meetings to drive adoption and value realization.

Maintain a public presence at industry events and conferences to promote platform value and support market share growth.

Lead go-to-market messaging for new products and features within assigned accounts, ensuring effective positioning and alignment with customer priorities.

Evangelize the platform’s value internally and externally to drive engagement and business outcomes.

Requirements

7+ years of professional experience in sales, marketing, or consulting within the life sciences industry.

Deep understanding of Key Opinion Leader (KOL) engagement, medical affairs, and commercial launch processes.

Proven ability to influence and manage executive-level customers and stakeholders.

Strong communication skills with the ability to write and present clearly and confidently.

Demonstrated track record of translating customer needs into product innovation and actionable solutions.

Experience managing cross-functional projects and collaborating with peers to achieve business objectives.

Bachelor’s degree with strong academic performance; advanced degree preferred.

Strategic, analytical mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
