The Global Head of Lending Products oversees a team of professionals who manage lending product frameworks across Wholesale and Retail Credit regimes, creating a global center of excellence.
Responsibilities
Oversee Product Management teams to build a Center of Excellence for the global business.
Curate a high‑performing team culture through coaching, hiring and retaining top talent across Product Management, Collateral and Subject Matter Experts.
Oversee and manage product frameworks and guidelines for all Citi Wealth Lending products, balancing risk appetite with market competitiveness.
Understand and articulate market‑specific products, competitive environment, platform gaps, challenges and opportunities.
Partner with 2LOD to elevate and continuously manage product frameworks and guidelines.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to advance business objectives, ensuring governance in partnership with the Wealth Lending Governance team.
Coordinate cross‑jurisdictional collaboration with Lending Advisory and 1st line Underwriting colleagues globally to ensure seamless global delivery of lending solutions.
Establish a reputation for execution and excellence among internal partners.
Support the Lending Leadership team on large‑scale projects and business priorities.
Qualifications
15+ years of experience in High Net Worth and Ultra High Net Worth Lending.
Solid knowledge of financial markets, investments, banking and loan products.
Experience across wealth lending products, including Alternatives Lending, Aircraft, CRE, Art Financing and Unsecured (ideal but not required).
Strong knowledge of both Wholesale and Retail credit frameworks.
Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong financial and cash‑flow modelling ability.
Capacity to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Strong negotiation and problem‑solving skills.
Displays flexibility and independence in a demanding environment.
Completion of formal credit training program preferred.
Education
Bachelor’s/University degree; Master’s degree preferred.
