What to Expect We are looking for a skilled and motivated Supply Chain Manager to join our direct procurement team, supporting our manufacturing operations through the direct sourcing of resin/polymer raw materials. This role will report to our Lead Supply Chain Manager and may also act as an active sourcing resource supporting various Engineering groups within Tesla.

What You'll Do

Owner of RFQ's and contract management – ensure Non-Disclosure Agreements, General Terms & Conditions, Piece Price Agreements, and other related contracts are negotiated, agreed, and appropriately documented before business is initiated.

Develop and manage key supplier relationships while collaborating with engineering, manufacturing, and finance to align sourcing strategies.

Lead negotiations, optimize material costs, and drive supplier consolidation to enhance efficiency and value.

Identify opportunities to consolidate polymer grades, reducing complexity and improving supply chain resilience.

Monitor industry trends, pricing, and geopolitical risks to inform sourcing decisions and ensure supply security.

Work with R&D and external partners to integrate advanced polymer technologies and sustainable materials into procurement strategies.

What You'll Bring

Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Engineering, Chemistry, or evidence of exceptional ability, or equivalent experience.

3+ years of experience in supply chain management, commodity management, engineering, or manufacturing environment.

Strong analytical skills for data analysis and cost evaluation.

Experience communicating with external stakeholders, negotiations with suppliers.

Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.

Expected Compensation $101,280 – $189,000 annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits.

Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
