Base pay range $100,000.00/yr - $140,000.00/yr

Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive safety policies aligned with OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) standards and EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) regulations.
Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments across manufacturing facilities to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
Lead incident investigations, perform root cause analysis, and prepare detailed reports to prevent recurrence.
Coordinate and deliver training programs on safety procedures, first aid, CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), and emergency response protocols.
Ensure compliance with workers' compensation law by managing claims processes and supporting injured employees’ return-to-work programs.
Maintain accurate documentation of safety records, incident reports, training logs, and inspection reports.
Collaborate with management to develop occupational health initiatives that promote worker well-being.
Monitor regulatory changes related to EHS (Environmental Health & Safety) practices and update policies accordingly.
Qualifications
BSCE or BSCM Preferred in engineering or equivalent or has five years progressive experience and or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum 7+ years experience as a Safety Manager in the construction of a major facility such as a treatment plant with at least one over 50 million.
Valid certification as a CHST or similar safety certification.
Proven experience in manufacturing environments or similar industrial settings with a strong understanding of OSHA regulations.
Demonstrated knowledge of workers' compensation law and reporting procedures.
Prior experience conducting training & development sessions related to occupational health and safety.
Familiarity with report writing, incident documentation, and root cause analysis methodologies.
Certifications such as First Aid, CPR, or OSHA Safety Certification are highly desirable.
Strong understanding of EPA regulations related to environmental compliance within industrial operations.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to train diverse teams effectively.
Ability to analyze complex safety data and develop actionable improvement plans.
