About the Job You’re Considering Java AWS engineer with 8+ years of experience in design, development, deployment and support. Primarily responsible for analyzing, debugging and resolving production support issues.
Your Role
Experience in Java 8/11, Spring, Spring Batch, Spring Boot, Hibernate, PostgreSQL. Working on AWS environment (Lambda, EC2, ECS, DynamoDB, IAM, CloudFront, load balancers) and understanding architecture to troubleshoot issues.
Knowledge in implementing CI/CD using AWS CDK, Typescript.
Well versed with Linux commands, thread‑dump analysis, Splunk, Dynatrace logs, monitoring, performance and ability to recommend improvements to application performance.
Strong documentation skills and problem‑solving abilities.
Your Skills and Experience
Willing to work and resolve tickets as per SLAs; strong knowledge in writing complex SQL queries.
Advanced research, analysis, and recommendation of improvements to issues within the application.
Advanced skill in creating and maintaining technical documentation.
Works under pressure and manages competing priorities.
Meets or exceeds expectations on process turnaround for assigned tasks and follow‑ups, and issue resolution to closure.
Able to resolve P1/P2 issues and represent team in bridge calls.
Provides root‑cause analysis for critical bugs/defects; post‑production change/release validation and application support during off‑hours.
