Director, Enterprise Security & Operations
to architect, develop, and implement security strategies that protect the company from threats, theft, vandalism, and IT/OT risks while overseeing end‑user support operations and enterprise service management. This leader will drive operational excellence by unifying two critical domains—Security Operations (SecOps) and IT Operations (ITOps)—and by integrating historically siloed IT support functions across all containerboard mills and packaging plants. The role includes routine risk assessments, vulnerability identification, benchmarking, and continuous improvements to NICB’s security posture, all while ensuring strong 24x7x365 IT/OT service delivery.
This Director will collaborate with all NICB IT/OT teams to define architecture, engineering standards, hardware/software baselines, service portfolios, and governance policies. The ideal candidate has deep experience in complex manufacturing environments, IT/OT convergence, and leading IT Operations and Support teams. Strong organizational change management skills are essential to integrate traditional IT/OT silos. The candidate must be committed to understanding NICB’s business, enabling plant operations, driving risk mitigation and cyber best practices, and protecting company data.
Responsibilities – Security

Interpret patterns of noncompliance and assess risk impacts.
Monitor security data sources to maintain situational awareness.
Oversee security training and awareness programs.
Lead network and information security risk assessments.
Develop or update cybersecurity program plans and requirements.
Maintain security‑related SOPs, instructions, and plans.

Direct daily service desk operations and ensure SLA compliance.
Lead and mentor support staff; foster collaboration and professional growth.
Define and execute a technical strategy aligned with organizational goals.
Evaluate and manage support tools, ticketing systems, and self‑service platforms.
Track and improve KPIs/SLA metrics (FTR, resolution time, CSAT, ticket volume).
Provide high‑quality technical assistance to internal users and customers.
