Job Description Trust Account Management
Serve as the primary contact for clients and their advisors and provide exceptional client service.
Manage all facets of trust administration, coordinating directions from investment and distribution advisors, overseeing tax and compliance filings alongside our tax department, and coordinating new investment set‑up and asset additions within trust structures.
Business Development
Play an active role in business development by attending financial, legal, and estate planning industry events.
Lead the onboarding process for new trust accounts.
Process Improvement
Participate in internal and external training programs to understand and improve upon the unique elements of our directed trust business.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, law, finance or related field (CPA, CFP, or CTFA is a plus).
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a financial institution, law firm, accounting, or consulting firm.
Exceptional understanding of fiduciary responsibilities and estate planning principles.
Strong communication skills and the willingness to learn the broad range of trust administration and operational / compliance requirements of a directed trust company.
Client relationship management experience, preferably in a fiduciary capacity.
Excellent problem‑solving skills and a desire to learn and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
Management experience with direct reports or junior team members is a plus.
