As

Staff Accountant , you will have an opportunity to rapidly develop your accounting and analysis skills in a fast-paced and technology-driven environment that is made up of a diverse set of trading businesses and other private investments.

What You’ll Do In This Role

Perform daily General Ledger functions such as cash and trading account reconciliation, and income and expense accruals to support month-end close.

Assist with preparation of monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.

Respond to requests from external auditors.

Maintain a high level of data integrity of financial information amongst complex accounting and back office systems.

Analyze detailed trade information and reconcile data between internal trade systems and external statements.

Lead ad-hoc projects and create ad-hoc reports as needed.

What You’ll Need For This Role

Bachelor’s degree in accounting required; CPA preferred.

1-3 years of accounting experience.

Previous experience working in public accounting or in trading firms, hedge funds, or other similar asset management firms preferred.

Strong experience creating reports in Excel.

Previous experience working with Oracle or other accounting software preferred.

Strong knowledge of GAAP.

Strong organization skills and detail orientation.

Ability to prioritize, multitask and effectively manage changing priorities.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

The annual base salary range for this position is $85,000 to $115,000 depending on the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and relevant skill set. The position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition,
