Job Description As a Security Officer – Unarmed Government Patrol Shift in San Francisco, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a variety of industries such as Government. You will monitor and patrol assigned government locations, deter security-related incidents, interact with the public, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Saturday 03:00 PM – 11:00 PM

What You’ll Do
Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the assigned location and its perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to deter unwanted behaviors and provide assistance as needed.
Document observations and incidents according to Allied Universal and client procedures.
Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.
Assist with access control and monitor entry points to help deter unauthorized access.
Support emergency response efforts and coordinate with law enforcement or emergency personnel as directed by site procedures.
Minimum Requirements
At least 1 year of security-related experience.
A valid driver’s license required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
