Project Manager – Site Readiness for Medical Imaging Installations – Boston
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the site readiness of medical imaging installations in Boston. The role involves coordinating logistics, planning, delivery, and installation of imaging equipment across multiple modalities.
Your Role
Oversee logistics, planning, delivery, and installation activities for imaging equipment across all modalities (MR, CT, X‑Ray) within Siemens Healthineers.
Foster and maintain high‑level relationships in key accounts; drive revenue by developing project pre‑construction plans, estimates, and schedules.
Actively monitor construction progress, coordinate with stakeholders (facilities, architects, mechanical, electrical, structural engineers, etc.), resolve construction issues, and manage delivery and installation according to the mutually established schedule.
Communicate project information, status updates, schedule, and scope changes to internal and external stakeholders (customer, architect, engineer, contractor, Siemens Sales and Service partners).
Attend presale meetings with Sales Account Executives and support the sales relationship with customers as required.
Consult with customers to optimize equipment layouts and clinical workflow for inclusion in drawings and project plans.
Visit project sites to secure measurements, procure cost estimates, and review key project success factors such as electrical and construction requirements with customer project teams.
Your Expertise
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum 1‑2 years of complex project management experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Experience with construction in healthcare environments (electrical, plumbing, structural, HVAC).
Ability to read and interpret blueprint drawings; CAD knowledge preferred.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and projects concurrently.
Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Teams, Notes, Excel, Word).
Experience managing matrix project teams, third‑party vendors, and working within a large corporate structure.
Ability and willingness to travel up to 75%.
Candidates must be based in the Boston area and be willing to travel to neighboring cities/states as needed.
Salary Range: $89,220.00 – $133,840.00 USD.
