About the Role
We are a fast-paced organization seeking a hands‑on Staff Accountant to support and manage US accounting and bookkeeping activities. This is an individual contributor role requiring a high level of accuracy, ownership, and accountability. The ideal candidate is QuickBooks Online certified, detail‑oriented, and comfortable working independently.
Key Responsibilities
Independently manage day‑to‑day US accounting & bookkeeping using QuickBooks Online (QBO)
Handle Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, bank reconciliations, and cash flow tracking
Assist in preparation of financial statements, reports, and analyses
Ensure compliance with GAAP and US tax regulations
Support and participate in month‑end and year‑end closing
Identify process improvements and follow established bookkeeping best practices
Mandatory Qualifications
QuickBooks Online (QBO) Level 1 Certification
Hands‑on, practical experience using QBO for US clients
2+ years of experience in US accounting and bookkeeping
Working knowledge of GAAP, US tax compliance, and financial reporting
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting tools
Comfortable working as an individual contributor with minimal supervision
Available to join in January 2026
Assessment Process
In‑person QuickBooks Online practical assessment as part of the hiring process
Selection based on technical accuracy, hands‑on capability, and accountability
