MoneyGeek is a fast-growing personal finance and insurance platform that helps millions of people get to their financial happy place. We combine trusted editorial content, proprietary data, and technology‑driven product funnels to connect consumers with the right insurance and financial products, while driving measurable performance for our partners.
We’re profitable, growing quickly, and scaling our paid search campaigns across multiple Insurance verticals. This growth focused role will own SMB/Commercial, Life, Pet (and potentially other) insurance verticals.
The Role As MoneyGeek’s first dedicated Paid Search Sr. Manager / Director, you’ll be both the strategist and the doer. This is a roll‑up‑your‑sleeves job. Over time, you will build out an organization that you will lead and develop into an elite performing team.
You’ll collaborate directly with leadership, including the CEO, Head of Product, and Head of Client Partnerships to shape paid acquisition strategy, channel mix, and data integrity standards. You’ll bring a “no excuses, all‑ownership” mentality to every click, lead, and conversion.
This is both a strategic and hands‑on role, ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of growth, execution, strategy.
What You’ll Do
Run and refine campaigns.
Own day‑to‑day Google Ads execution: keyword research, bidding strategies, ad copy, and audience targeting.
Obsess over Quality Score.
Continuously test and improve ad relevance, CTR, and landing‑page experience.
Diagnose and fix signals.
Audit and maintain perfect data flow across pixels, forms, and client integrations.
Think full‑funnel.
Optimize every step of the conversion path — from page load speed to form friction — for better ROI.
Automate intelligently.
Use macros, scripts, and platform automation to scale efficiency beyond manual optimizations.
Expand channels.
Experiment with Bing, Meta, and YouTube when performance and economics make sense.
Report performance.
Build clear dashboards, distill insights, and communicate learnings to leadership.
Qualifications
3–5 years of hands‑on Google Ads management experience (insurance or financial services a major plus)
Strong record of scaling spend while improving ROI and conversion quality
Experience with data and analytics tools (GA4, Looker Studio, Sheets/Excel, macros/scripts)
Understanding of conversion tracking, GTM, and pixel‑based attribution
Working knowledge of landing‑page UX and SEO principles
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Who you are
Driven competitor.
You want to win, not just run ads.
Hands‑on expert.
You’re happiest deep in Google Ads Editor, not delegating the work.

Holistic marketer.
You understand that great PPC depends on great UX, page speed, and aligned messaging.
Builder & owner.
You take initiative, work independently, and thrive in fast‑moving, high‑trust environments.
Continuous improver.
You always ask, “How do we make this 10% better?”
