Our client in the retail space is looking for an Email Marketing Specialist for a 6 month contract role!
This person will be responsible for creating and managing email campaigns that strengthen relationships with subscribers in the U.S. and Canada. Focus areas include campaign execution, customer retention, list segmentation, subscription growth, and maintaining clean email lists for stores and e-commerce.
This is a 6 month, 40 hour per week role! The team works on site in Boston, MA Tuesday through Thursday.
Key Responsibilities
Build, test, and launch email campaigns within Emarsys, on time and with high quality.
Work with teams like Merchandising, Retail, Creative, and Development to ensure campaigns align with overall marketing goals.
Manage email lists and ensure best practices for list hygiene and deliverability.
Run A/B tests, analyze results, and apply learnings to improve campaigns.
Edit HTML templates and create custom emails when needed.
Track project milestones and communicate risks.
Prioritize tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications (preferred).
3+ years of marketing experience, ideally in e-commerce.
Experience with email service providers (ESPs) and database segmentation.
Knowledge of personalization and e-commerce marketing strategies.
Strong project management and attention to detail.
Ability to troubleshoot, work independently, and collaborate with teams.
