Key Responsibilities

Own category strategy, partnering with Product Management to define the strategic direction for Sage 50 in the US and Canada.

Translate market opportunity and customer insight into clear growth strategies and go‑to‑market plans that drive adoption, revenue, and market share.

Be the market and customer expert; maintain a deep understanding of target segments, customer needs, competitive landscape, and emerging trends.

Lead positioning, value propositions, and messaging that resonate with specific audiences.

Own pricing and packaging strategy, leading pricing, packaging, and tiering decisions in partnership with Product and Commercial teams.

Define launch strategy for new capabilities and value propositions, then work with the Go‑to‑Market Execution team to bring them to market effectively and at scale.

Shape external messaging, thought leadership, and market presence, including analyst engagement and supporting PR activities tied to launches and category momentum.

Qualifications

8+ years of product marketing experience, including Director-level ownership of strategy, positioning, and go‑to‑market execution.

Experience with accounting, financial software, ERP, or complex B2B SaaS technology products.

Proven success launching cloud‑based technology products, including new platforms or capabilities in competitive environments.

Strong command of core product marketing disciplines: positioning, messaging, value propositions, pricing and packaging, and launch strategy.

Strategic and hands‑on execution ability, translating market insight into clear, executable plans.

Demonstrated success working cross‑functionally with Product Management, Sales, Marketing, and channel teams in a matrixed organization.

Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives and influence stakeholders at all levels, including executive leadership.

Comfort presenting and representing products externally, with customers, partners, or industry audiences.

Creative, market‑driven mindset, balanced with discipline to execute in complex, fast‑moving environments.
