The Opportunity
Our client, a top‑tier, Chambers‑ranked California powerhouse, is seeking a talented Real Estate Associate to join its elite San Francisco practice. This is an exceptional opportunity to work alongside some of the most highly regarded real estate attorneys in the state on sophisticated, high‑stakes matters for a diverse portfolio of institutional clients.
The Role The successful candidate will join a dynamic team with a primary focus on commercial leasing. You will be responsible for drafting and negotiating complex documents across a broad spectrum of transactions, with a particular emphasis on office, retail, and industrial leasing.
While the core focus is leasing, you will also have the opportunity to support a variety of other transactional matters, providing a well‑rounded experience in:
Real estate acquisitions and dispositions.
Real estate finance and joint ventures.
Comprehensive title and survey review.
Note: Experience with data center leasing is considered a strong plus but is not a requirement.
Candidate Profile
Experience:
2–8 years of solid transactional real estate experience, ideally within a major law firm environment.
Technical Skills:
Exceptional drafting ability and strong analytical skills; must be comfortable handling significant individual responsibility while collaborating within a team.
Academics:
A high level of academic achievement from a nationally recognized law school.
Licensure:
Active member in good standing with the State Bar of California.
Compensation & Culture This firm is known for its collaborative culture and commitment to associate development.
Base Salary:
$210,000 – $325,000 (commensurate with experience and seniority).
