About Confido Confido is building an AI-native operating system for brands that sell into brick‑and‑mortar retail. We’re building intuitive and powerful software paired with AI agents that help brands like Baskin Robbins and Olipop automate the thousands of hours of tedious manual work that goes into scaling a brand in retail. We have best‑in‑class growth, efficiency, and we’ve recently raised a $15M Series A to build on the existing momentum.
The Role Location: New York, NY (relocation assistance available). Compensation: $180,000 and $230,000 + Benefits + Equity (.25% - .35%). We’re seeking a strategic and hands‑on Head of Finance to own our financial operations and drive data‑informed decision‑making across the organization. This role offers the opportunity to build and scale financial systems while partnering closely with leadership to shape our company's financial future. You will report to the CEO.
What You’ll Do
Own the company's P&L, including monthly close, financial reporting, and variance analysis
Oversee all invoicing, billing, accounts payable/receivable, business expenses, and day-to-day accounting operations
Manage financial forecasts to support strategic planning, budgeting, and investment decisions
Develop and implement financial processes, controls, and systems as the company scales
Manage relationships with external partners including accountants, auditors, and financial institutions
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and reporting requirements
What We're Looking For
6-12 years of finance experience, including accounting, corporate finance, or FP&A roles
Hands‑on experience managing invoicing, billing, and accounting operations
Strong technical accounting knowledge and financial modelling skills
Strategic thinker and tactical executor who can both advise leadership and handle day-to-day operations
Excellent communication skills, high integrity, detail‑oriented, and comfortable in a fast‑paced environment
Willingness to work at our NYC Headquarters 5 days a week
