Optometrist - Supporting Military Readiness!
Attention all Optometrists: we are calling on you to work with us providing refractions, eyeglass fittings, and treatment to our Military Service members. Availability is primarily on weekends, with occasional weekdays in California on an "as needed" basis.
We provide health‑readiness services to meet the medical requirements for maintaining a deployable military force for the following teams:
U.S. Army Reserve (USAR)
Army National Guard (ARNG)
U.S. Navy Reserve (USNR)
U.S. Marine Forces Reserve (MARFORRES)
U.S. Coast Guard Reserve (USCGR)
Air National Guard (ANG)
U.S. Air Force Reserve (USAFR)
Responsibilities
Perform refractions and eyeglass fittings with equipment provided by DOCS Health.
Requirements
Active and unrestricted license/certification in the state.
Available for weekends and occasional weekdays.
Passionate, friendly, and caring.
Must have weekend availability.
Experience working with military – preferred.
Salary: $500 per day.
Background check (including criminal record check) and drug screening required. We use E‑Verify.
