About the Team Anduril Cyber is positioning Anduril as the leading provider of expeditionary cyber capabilities. As a new business line, we pioneer the integration of autonomous vehicles, mesh networks, and electronic warfare products to conduct cyber operations at the edge. The Mission Software Engineering team builds, deploys, integrates, extends, and scales Anduril’s software to deliver mission‑critical capabilities to our customers.
Job Overview As a Front End Software Engineer, you will work closely with end‑users, Product and Design teams, and backend engineering teams to create intuitive and effective User Experiences that bring Lattice OS to the customer’s mission. Your efforts will ensure Anduril products are usable and mission‑capable. Mission Software Engineers are driven by a “Whatever It Takes” mindset—executing expedient, scalable, and pragmatic solutions while keeping the mission front‑of‑mind.
Responsibilities
Build and maintain intuitive and easy‑to‑use User Interfaces for the command and control of cyber assets, the planning of offensive cyber missions, and remote asset management in far edge environments.
Work closely with users, product designers, and other engineering teams to shape and build User Interfaces that optimize for the delivery of value to the end user.
Fetch and manage large streams of data while maintaining performant rendering in a low‑friction user experience.
Build, test, deploy, and demonstrate mission critical code in a tight feedback loop with end users.
Travel up to 25% of the time to participate in customer events and deploy capabilities in the real world.
Contribute back to the development of User Interfaces across all of Anduril, with the aim of developing components that are reusable across multiple product lines.
Qualifications
3+ years of experience using frontend languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, and React.
Ability to rapidly adapt and perform as a generalist when needed to meet the customer’s mission.
Experience translating Figma designs into functional code.
Customer‑focused mindset with an emphasis on creating intuitive and easy‑to‑use products.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Currently possesses and is able to maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance.
Compensation US Salary Range: $129,000 — $171,000 USD
