The Position: Project Management Director The Data Center and Energy Business Unit is seeking an experienced Director of Project Management who will lead a global team of Project Managers and New Product Coordinators chartered with driving successful execution of all BU roadmap projects through the ADI development cycle. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving the BU portfolio selection process, developing robust project plans, and delivering predictable execution by developing a world‑class Project Management team and methodologies. They will also own managing the necessary collaborations with the VBU Operations and other central teams needed to align with company‑wide development processes. Additionally, the successful candidate will serve as Program Manager for the two “Big Bet” verticals within the BU. The position reports to the Program Office Senior Director.
Responsibilities & Duties
Lead and develop a world‑class Project Management and NPC team across the BU.
Partner with BU GMs and functional stakeholders such as marketing and engineering to facilitate the project selection process, including graduation of the innovation roadmap to the execution funnel.
Drive effective project planning methodologies:
Ensure that the POR BU development portfolio remains in line with approved budgets, resources and project schedule commitments.
Ensure the execution plans for all PSD1 projects are sound and any necessary mitigation strategies are in place for identified risks.
Ensure that all BU projects are developed in compliance with required internal, customer or industry standards, processes and procedures.
Oversee the successful execution of the BU Portfolio Roadmap:
Ensure that all projects remain within their specified project bounding boxes, schedules, scope, budgets and staffing.
Continue to evaluate project risks and take appropriate action to mitigate.
Drive common reporting and escalation practices across the team to BU leadership.
Drive conformance to the VBU business cycle, PLE data integrity, timekeeping, PEP, BMP tracking metric generation and analysis and reporting.
Serve as the BU representative for VBU operations, evangelize company‑wide ADI 3.0 / PRISM initiatives within the BU, and provide feedback to central teams.
Advocate for BU project needs from other BU’s and central teams to ensure plans and commitments are met.
Serve as the Big Bet Program Manager for the Data Center and Energy Verticals, partnering with stakeholders to manage the portfolio, action plans and coordination of status materials for VBU / ELT.
Ideal Candidate
Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (Master’s or MBA a plus, but not required).
Minimum of 10 years of industry experience, preferably with some background in silicon and/or module development.
5+ years of experience in an Engineering Project/Program Manager role (PMP or other accreditation a plus, but not required).
Proven success in leading cross‑functional teams through influence; experience with multi‑site, multi‑geographical development desired.
Strong planning and organization skills; able to set and manage priorities, adapt to change, track progress of activities, issues, risks and deliverables to closure.
Problem‑solving ability to assess situations, collect relevant information and drive manageable solutions.
Decisiveness and timely decision‑making in the best interests of the project.
Creativity and innovation; willingness to explore new options to bridge challenges or improve processes.
Big‑picture perspective; ability to identify and address challenges across functional boundaries.

Actual wage offered may vary depending on work location, experience, education, training, external market data, internal pay equity, or other bona‑fide factors.
This position qualifies for a discretionary performance‑based bonus based on personal and company factors.
