Data Architect – Avtech Solutions
Key Responsibilities
Understand client requirements and design tailored data solutions leveraging modern data platforms (Snowflake, Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform).
Create high‑level architecture diagrams and solution blueprints for data integration, analytics, and governance.
Collaborate with sales teams to qualify opportunities and define solution scope.
Deliver compelling presentations, demos, and Proof of Concepts (POCs) to showcase capabilities.
Respond to RFPs/RFIs with detailed technical proposals and cost estimates.
Stay updated on emerging trends in data engineering, cloud platforms, and AI‑driven analytics.
Advise clients on best practices for data modernization, migration, and governance.
Work with delivery teams to ensure smooth handover from presales to implementation.
Conduct internal enablement sessions on new technologies and solution offerings.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Strong knowledge of data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, Azure Synapse, BigQuery, etc.).
Experience with ETL/ELT tools, data modeling, and data governance frameworks.
Familiarity with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik) and advanced analytics concepts.
Excellent communication and presentation skills for both technical and business audiences.
Ability to create solution proposals, architecture diagrams, and cost models.
15+ years in data engineering, analytics, or related roles, with at least 3 years in presales or solution consulting.
Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) and hybrid architectures.
