Base pay range: $150,000 - $300,000 per year.
Company Overview I am working with a systematic hedge fund that has multiple successful commodities strategies in North America. One of their most prominent desks, focused on gas trading, is looking to hire a Data Scientist to build out the research infrastructure and models for the desk as they expand.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
Build research infrastructure and models for the gas trading desk.
Experience with commodities (Power/Energy/Gas) and systematic trading development.
Analyze data sets, including time series and market data.
Strong technical skills in Python, MLflow, and AWS.
Collaborate with researchers and traders in a flat structure.
