Career Area: Finance

As a Manager in Global Tax’s Data & Technology group, you will manage a group with responsibility for systems, applications, data, and process improvements that support Global Tax. You will review applicable compliance activities and provide guidance to tax teams related to data and systems. As an experienced professional, you will lead or support tax projects and initiatives to deliver technological advancements and efficient solutions.

What You Will Do

Direct the work efforts of professional employees and contracted resources ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements through comprehensive reviews and accurate documentation

Lead the administration, maintenance, and resolution of user issues of systems, applications, and data supporting tax compliance and analytical reporting, with an emphasis on M365 products, including SharePoint, Power Automate and Dataverse

Drive innovation by evaluating and deploying new technologies to strengthen digital capabilities and meet department goals, while leading process improvements and automation to boost efficiency

Lead technology-driven projects that deliver synergies and robust controls, while working closely with stakeholders to define requirements, understand tax considerations, and support enterprise or global tax initiatives.

Design, implement, and maintain SharePoint sites and dashboards & visualizations

Oversee completion of timely US tax payments

What You Have

Education/Experience: The position typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance, IT, or business-related degree with progressively responsible job-related experience.

Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts; adapts documents and correspondence for intended audience, Demonstrates both empathy and assertiveness when communicating a need.

Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches and tools for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving problems; organizes problem solvers and leads to resolution; analyzes and synthesizes information, and devises alternative resolution strategies.

Requirements Analysis: Plays a leading role in recording and storing requirement documents; produces detailed functional and information requirements models and documentation

Technical Troubleshooting: Discovers, analyzes, and resolves hardware, software, or application problem; analyzes code, logs, and current systems as part of advanced troubleshooting

What Will Set You Apart

Strong knowledge of Snowflake and M365, specifically SharePoint, Microsoft Power Platform, and Dataverse

Strong communication skills, accountability, organizational skills, project management, and good judgment

Collaborative and team-oriented personality with the ability to build and foster relationships throughout the organization

Understanding of business processes, financial systems and enterprise operations

Additional Info

The primary location for this position is Peoria, IL

This role requires 5 days a week in office

Domestic relocation is available for those who qualify

Pay Range $126,000.00 - $189,000.00
