REQUIREMENT_CITY – Chicago, IL-Onsite
Long term contract role
Role Name - Automation Tester Role Description - Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Selenium (Java) and BDDTDD (Cucumber).
Perform API testing using Postman, Swagger, and Rest Assured.
Implement database automation and validate backend processes using MS SQL Server and Oracle.
Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate continuous testing into CICD pipelines using GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps, Ensure test coverage for functional, integration, and regression testing.
Work closely with developers, business analysts, and product owners to define test strategies and acceptance criteria.
Required Skills
Expertise Automation Tools Selenium (Java), Rest Assured, Postman, Swagger.
Frameworks BDDTDD (Cucumber), Page Object Model, Hybrid Automation Frameworks.
Programming Strong proficiency in Java.
CICD DevOps Hands-on experience with GitHub Actions.
Database Testing MS SQL Server, Oracle Reporting PowerBI for dashboards and analytics.
Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
