Boston, MA (USA)

Role Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated
Investments Technology Analyst
with a strong background in
investment management, technology, and data , to support large-scale global technology implementation initiatives. The domain spans
client solutions, portfolio management, operations, trading, compliance, and data platforms , with a strong global collaboration component.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with global stakeholders including Business users, regional teams, vendors, and technology partners to gather end-user and integration requirements.
Perform detailed business and systems analysis to design global solutions with minimal region-specific customization.
Create business specifications and translate business requirements into technical specifications.
Assist in solution design, integrating vendor platforms with internal development initiatives.
Lead user group meetings and stakeholder sessions to define priorities and manage the backlog.
Act as a liaison between business and development teams, clarifying requirements and resolving issues.
Support testing activities, including test plan creation, execution, and production sign-off.
Assist with effort estimation, project planning, and resource budgeting.
Prepare training materials and support end users during and after implementations.
Ensure compliance with applicable policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
Coordinate with development teams and analysts across Mercer’s regional offices as required.
Top Skills & Domain Experience Required
Strong Investment Management domain knowledge, including:
OCIO (Outsourced CIO)
Private Assets / Alternatives
Hedge Fund business (preferred)
Experience working on large global transformation programs involving both vendor and in-house solutions.
Exposure to investment platforms and systems such as:
State Street / Alpha
ADP, MCH, RKS, TruView
FactSet, S&PD EDM, Jacobi
CRM systems
Technical Skills (Preferred)
Hands-on or functional experience with:
Databricks
Snowflake
AWS data technologies
Cloud-based data warehouses and data lakes
Proficiency in SQL and relational databases.
Experience with BI tools (Qlik preferred) and designing data solutions for self-service analytics.
Familiarity with AI-enabled projects or tooling is a plus.
Knowledge of Agile / SDLC methodologies and related tools.
Strong skills in PowerPoint, Visio, Excel, and Word.
Lean process analysis experience is a plus.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, Data Analytics, or a related field.
Professional certifications (e.g., CFA) are a plus.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing business needs.
