Position Overview FNS is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager with tire-logistics operations expertise to lead warehouse operations. This role is responsible for end-to-end warehouse execution, including inbound receiving, storage optimization, inventory accuracy, outbound fulfillment, safety compliance, labor management, and KPI performance. The ideal candidate has hands‑on experience managing high‑volume tire warehouses, understands tire‑specific handling, stacking, and storage requirements, and can operate in a performance‑driven, customer‑audited logistics environment.

Responsibilities

Warehouse Operations Management

Oversee daily warehouse operations for tire storage and distribution (inbound, put‑away, picking, outbound, and returns).

Ensure proper tire handling methods (racking, floor stacking, palletized vs loose tires).

Manage seasonal volume fluctuations (peak tire seasons, promotions, OEM vs aftermarket flows).

Optimize space utilization for high‑density tire storage.

Tire‑Specific Handling & Compliance

Enforce tire‑specific SOPs, including:

Proper stacking height and weight limits

FIFO / DOT‑date control

Damage prevention (deformation, sidewall stress)

Maintain compliance with:

OSHA warehouse safety standards

Fire code requirements for rubber tire storage

Customer‑specific audit and quality requirements (Hankook Tire standards)

Inventory & Systems Management

Ensure inventory accuracy (≥ 99.5%) through cycle counts and controls.

Manage WMS execution (RF scanning, lot/DOT tracking, location control).

Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, damages, and shrinkage.

Coordinate with transportation and planning teams for inbound/outbound alignment.

Lead, train, and supervise warehouse supervisors, leads, and hourly staff.

Develop tire‑handling training programs and safety certifications.

Manage staffing plans, overtime control, and productivity benchmarks.

Foster a safety‑first and accountability‑driven culture.

KPI & Customer Performance

Own operational KPIs, including:

Order accuracy

On‑time shipping

Labor productivity

Inventory accuracy

Safety incident rates

Prepare and present weekly/monthly performance reports.

Act as the primary on‑site operational contact for Hankook Tire audits, reviews, and escalations.

Identify and implement process improvements to reduce handling cost per tire.

Support layout redesigns, racking optimization, and automation initiatives.

Lead Kaizen / Lean initiatives within tire operations.

Support startup, transition, or ramp‑up phases if required.

Qualifications

7+ years of warehouse operations experience, with minimum 3–5 years in tire warehouse operations.

Prior experience supporting major tire manufacturers or distributors (Hankook, Michelin, Bridgestone, Goodyear, etc.).

Experience in 3PL or contract logistics operations.

Experience with multi‑shift or 24/7 operations.

Lean / Six Sigma or continuous improvement background.

Proven experience managing high‑volume tire storage and distribution.

Strong understanding of tire handling methods and damage prevention, tire stacking, and racking best practices, DOT‑date / lot control.

Experience managing 50+ warehouse staff preferred.

Strong working knowledge of WMS and RF systems.

Solid understanding of OSHA and fire code requirements related to tire storage.

Bilingual in English and Korean is

required ; Spanish proficiency is a plus

The base pay range for this role is between $90,000 - $120,000 per Salary, and your base pay will depend on your experiences, qualifications, and skills.
