The primary role of the Engineering function within the Product Development team is to create specifications and designs for new products or improvements and enhancements to existing products. The engineer works closely with customers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand and define customer needs in these designs. Features are aligned to a timetable and areas of responsibility. Developers may solicit customers for feedback regarding product usability and desired future enhancements. Software engineers who design, write, and test code for the product should be matched in either Software Engineering Applications or Systems. Product developers who specialize in hardware systems should be matched to Hardware Engineering.

Provide advice/direction in primary areas of expertise.

Leverage professional expertise and relationships to contribute to strategy and drive business results.

Build stable working relationships internally to exchange information.

Receive instruction, guidance, and direction from others.

Qualifications and Experience Required

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web, backend, and mobile applications.

Perform backend testing to validate APIs, services, and data integrity.

Implement and maintain automation frameworks using Cypress for web applications.

Develop and execute automated tests for Android (Kotlin) and iOS (Swift) applications.

Utilize AWS Cloud services for application deployment, testing, and monitoring.

Preferred

Requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.

Minimum of 2 years of related experience.

Follows standard practices and procedures and applies basic theories, concepts, principles, and methodologies in analyzing situations or data.

Individual pay decisions are based on a variety of factors such as geographic location, qualifications, work experience, and skills. The current base range for this position in the United States is $89,000 - $111,000 - $133,000 USD.
