Role Overview Position type:

Full‑time, based in Washington, DC.

You will lead and scale MPOWER’s recoveries function to maximize portfolio performance.

The role blends strategy, analytics, and hands‑on execution in a fast‑growth environment.

Responsibilities

Continuously review defaulted loans to gain insights and identify recovery strategies.

Identify opportunities to improve loan servicing, delinquency management, and collections through data‑driven analytics.

Drive automation, process improvement, and team optimization to scale recoveries.

Refine the global recoveries strategy to maximize collections while supporting borrowers through hardship.

Provide input on servicing and collections standards, policies, and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulations.

Manage a lean recoveries team, fostering mentorship and professional development.

Tightly manage US and global collections agencies against quantitative objectives, expanding domestic and international recoveries partnerships.

Qualifications

Undergraduate degree in a quantitative field.

Deep experience in consumer‑credit collections, ideally with global or cross‑border exposure.

Past or current leadership role in a high‑tech or fast‑paced environment.

Experience with U.S. regulations including FDCPA, Reg Z, TILA, UDAAP.

Proven ability to use quantitative, data‑driven analyses to improve business performance.

Strong people‑management focus with a passion for mentorship and professional growth.

Customer‑service orientation coupled with empathy for clients.

Superior communication, presentation, and facilitation skills; able to explain complex concepts plainly.

Compensation & Benefits Salary range:

$110,000 – $130,000 USD plus stock options.

Compensation is based on role, level, location, and candidate skill set.
