HYBRID Staff Accountant - AP/AR
Bayview Seattle – Hybrid Flex-hours. Full-Time, 40 hours a week. Salary range: $27.00/hr - $35.00/hr (or $27.00 - $35.00 + DOE).
The Staff Accountant manages Bayview’s system for paying bills and all billing functions. You will assist in making general ledger entries, create spreadsheets for financial management, and handle various financial duties including petty cash and postage. Attention to detail, thoroughness, a strong work ethic, and professional demeanor are essential when working with vendors, customers, and coworkers.
The role focuses on producing high quality, detailed work based on established standards, guidelines and procedures. Precise, consistent output is required with patience and a willingness to handle tasks one at a time. The environment is stable, with known relationships and well-defined processes. Success is measured by consistent, error‑free work according to regulations and standards.
Qualities and Qualifications
High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (G.E.D.).
Associate degree in accounting preferred, but not required.
Minimum of three years of accounting experience with proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or related programs.
Aptitude for numbers and ability to manipulate large amounts of data.
Reliable, trustworthy, organized in time‑use and record maintenance.
Demonstrates integrity, good judgment, and ability to establish good working relationships.
Demonstrates attentiveness, responsiveness, courtesy and diplomacy in dealing with inquiries or problems.
Demonstrated skill and experience in duties and responsibilities described above.
