Responsibilities
Accounting & Reporting
Oversee general ledger accounting, including journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals.
Manage month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure timely and accurate financial statements.
Prepare and review financial reports, balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Budget preparation, variance analysis, and management reporting.
Financial Operations
Supervise or support accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll activities.
Maintain fixed asset schedules and depreciation records.
Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies.
Support cash management and forecasting activities.
Internal Controls & Process Improvement
Identify inefficiencies and implement solutions to streamline accounting processes.
Support audits and provide required schedules and documentation.
Help maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with company policies.
Work cross-functionally to provide accounting and financial insights.
Serve as a resource and key support for leadership.
Take ownership of projects and proactively solve accounting or process-related issues.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
5 plus years of progressive accounting experience
Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting systems
Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and communicate effectively across departments
CPA or CPA candidate preferred but not required
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
