Our culture is open, positive, collaborative, and results‑driven. Come join us! We are looking for a data‑driven and operationally minded Senior Strategic Financial Analyst to serve as a key architect of our financial planning and reporting infrastructure.
In this high‑visibility role, you will go beyond traditional reporting to act as a strategic partner to our GTM, R&D, and Operations leaders. You will not only track the numbers but also define how we track them—bridging the gap between our CRM (Salesforce) and Finance systems to ensure data integrity. If you are a proactive problem‑solver with 5+ years of experience who loves building models, optimizing deal structures, and uncovering insights that drive revenue efficiency, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
Strategic Planning & Metric Architecture
KPI Definition: Design and maintain a comprehensive set of SaaS metrics (e.g., ARR, NRR, CAC, LTV, Magic Number) to track performance across Revenue, R&D, and Support
Financial Modeling: Build and refine sophisticated financial models to analyze revenue streams, customer segmentation, pricing strategies, and sales team productivity
FP&A Leadership: Partner with the VP of Finance to drive the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting process, incorporating real‑time insights from operational data
GTM Operations & Deal Desk Partnership
Deal Strategy: Serve as the financial partner to the Deal Desk and Sales Leadership; analyze pricing, deal profitability, non‑standard contract terms, and revenue recognition implications, provide suggestions and input to define and shape the contract and order form structure
Compensation Analysis: Analyze the ROI of sales compensation plans and GTM organizational structure to ensure alignment with company growth targets
Ad‑Hoc Strategy: Conduct deep‑Dive analyses on specific business questions (e.g., new market entry, product margin analysis) to support executive decision‑making
Systems, Data Governance & Process Improvement
CRM to Finance Integration: Spearhead the integration between GTM systems (Salesforce) and financial systems (ERP/Planning tools)
Data Governance: Define the "source of truth" for sales data. Implement quality controls to ensure the accurate flow of booking and revenue data into financial reporting
Process Engineering: Develop standardized operating procedures (SOPs) for financial analysis to move the department from ad‑hoc reporting to scalable, automated frameworks
Qualifications
Experience: 5+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, Strategic Finance, or Sales Operations and equivalent strong analytics experience for business strategies
Industry Background: Prior experience in Enterprise SaaS company and prior private equity or investment banking experience preferred
Technical Stack
Advanced proficiency in Excel (complex modeling) is required
Strong familiarity with Salesforce (reporting, dashboards, object relationships) is essential
Experience with BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker, Python) and Planning tools (e.g., Anaplan, Adaptive Insights) is a major plus
Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Math, Accounting, Economics, or a related quantitative field. MBA or master degree is a plus
Soft Skills: Proven ability to translate complex financial data into clear, actionable narratives for non‑financial stakeholders (Sales, Engineering, Product). Strong communication skills and excellent writing skills. Strong team collaborator, self‑driven and motivated.
Benefits
Impact: You won’t just report the news; you’ll help make it by influencing deal structures and operational strategy
Visibility: Direct reporting line to the VP of Finance and regular exposure to GTM leadership
Builder Mindset: Opportunity to design processes from scratch rather than just inheriting them
Compensation: Base Salary Range: USD 100K to 130K per year; Equity and Benefits included.
